Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 6, 2026

General U.S. policy template. Legal review and confirmation of actual business practices are required before use.

Your parking information deserves clear treatment. This general U.S. policy explains the types of information that may be involved in parking management, the roles of facility operators, and privacy choices available under applicable law.

1. Scope and our role

This general policy describes personal information that may be involved in the Raven Parking website and parking management services. The information involved depends on the features used and the particular facility. It is not a statement that every category listed below is collected at every location.

Raven Parking may handle information for its own services or on behalf of a facility owner or parking operator. When an operator determines how information is used, its notices and applicable agreement may govern. Other websites, payment providers, and facility operators have their own privacy practices. Contact us if you need help identifying the responsible party.

2. Information involved in services

Depending on the service, information may include your name, email address, telephone number, account details, and messages you send; vehicle description and license plate; facility, entry and exit times, reservations, parking sessions, permits, and transaction or payment status.

Website or app interactions may involve technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, timestamps, pages accessed, and diagnostic records. Location information may relate to the parking facility or be supplied by a device if a feature requests it and you grant the necessary permission.

Payment information depends on the payment method and provider. A payment provider may receive card or other financial information, while the service may receive transaction references, billing details, limited payment identifiers, and payment status. Do not send full card details, passwords, or unnecessary sensitive information by email.

3. Cameras and license-plate recognition

At locations where cameras or license-plate recognition are enabled, images of vehicles and license plates may be captured together with date, time, and location information. Images may incidentally include people present at a facility. Camera capabilities and practices vary by location.

Subject to applicable law and notices, this information may be used to manage entry and exit, verify parking sessions or payment, enforce lawful facility rules, investigate incidents, and support safety or security. It may be available to the facility operator and relevant service providers for those purposes, or disclosed when legally required.

Check posted facility notices or contact the facility operator for location-specific information. This general policy does not assert that facial recognition, biometric identification, audio recording, or other camera features are used. Any such use requires an accurate, specific notice and any consent required by applicable law.

4. How information may be used

Information may be used to provide and administer parking services, manage accounts and access permissions, process and reconcile transactions, answer support requests, send service-related communications, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain service reliability.

Other permitted purposes may include preventing misuse or fraud, responding to incidents, complying with legal obligations, and establishing or defending legal claims. Marketing or optional uses must be disclosed when applicable and are subject to required consent and opt-out rights. The purposes that actually apply should be explained in the relevant service or facility notices.

5. Sharing and service providers

Where necessary for the relevant service, information may be shared with the applicable facility owner or operator, authorized administrators, payment providers, and providers supporting hosting, communications, support, or parking technology. Those parties may act under our instructions or as independent organizations, depending on their role.

Information may also be disclosed in response to valid legal process, to meet legal obligations, protect lawful rights or safety, or in connection with a business transfer subject to applicable law and required notice. A disclosure is not automatically permitted simply because it is listed here; it must have an appropriate basis.

Whether any processing constitutes a sale of personal information, sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, or targeted advertising depends on actual practices and the applicable law. This template makes no claim that those activities occur or do not occur. If applicable, a specific disclosure and required opt-out mechanism must be provided before such processing.

6. Cookies and choices

If used, cookies and similar technologies may support sessions, preferences, security, or site measurement. Any optional analytics or advertising technologies should be identified in the applicable notice, with consent or preference controls where required. This general policy does not state that advertising cookies or particular analytics providers are present.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings and device permissions through device controls. Disabling necessary technologies may affect a service. If applicable law requires recognition of a browser-based opt-out signal, such as Global Privacy Control, covered processing must respect that signal. Optional marketing communications should provide a way to unsubscribe; essential service notices may still be sent.

7. Retention and security

Retention should be limited to the period needed for the disclosed purposes, contractual requirements, or legal obligations, including necessary incident investigations and dispute resolution. The appropriate period can differ for contact records, parking sessions, transactions, and camera information. Facility and service-provider arrangements may affect retention; no fixed retention period is represented by this general template.

Safeguards should be appropriate to the information and risks involved. No transmission, storage system, camera, or access control is completely secure. This policy does not promise a particular certification or absolute security. Contact us if you suspect an information-security issue, without including unnecessary sensitive details.

8. U.S. state privacy rights

Depending on your state of residence, the law's applicability to our business, and the information involved, you may have rights to know about processing, access or obtain a copy of personal information, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, or opt out of certain processing. Some laws also provide rights to restrict certain uses of sensitive information or appeal a denied request. Exceptions and eligibility requirements may apply.

Where the California Consumer Privacy Act applies, eligible California residents may have rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information, and receive nondiscriminatory treatment for exercising their rights. Other state laws may provide different rights. This policy does not assert that a particular statute applies to Raven Parking.

Send a privacy request to contact@ravenparking.com with your state of residence, the request, and enough information to identify the relevant account or facility. We may need to verify your identity and an authorized agent's authority. Do not send a full payment card number or identity document unless a secure, necessary verification method has been arranged.

Where applicable, requests, appeals, and responses will be handled within the periods required by law. We may limit or deny a request where permitted and explain the reason and any available appeal process. If a facility operator controls the information, we may direct or forward the request to the appropriate party. No unlawful discrimination for exercising protected privacy rights is permitted.

9. Children, updates, and contact

These services are not intended for children under 13 to use independently. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us so the matter can be reviewed and handled under applicable law. This statement does not imply that no incidental images of children can appear in facility camera footage.

This policy may be updated as services or legal requirements change. Revisions will display an updated date, with additional notice or consent where required. General terms cannot substitute for accurate collection notices or facility-specific disclosures.

For privacy questions, requests, or concerns, email contact@ravenparking.com. Please identify the facility or service involved so your request can reach the appropriate party.
